i am no financial wizard, but in times of economic crisis, i believe the folks who call the money shots should heed advice from anyone willing to give it -- especially a design blogger.
therefore, i'd like to propose a solution to help reinvigorate the american dollar: add some color.
green bills are so 1862, and the newly added pops of purple and orange just aren't cutting it. may i suggest pantone's spring 2009 palette for a real runway edge?
in addition, master moneygami artist, hasegawa yousuke, would be able to fold much more fabulous hats for our former presidents. from salmon rose bonnets to pacific blue newsboys, the american dollar would be a fashion contender. how could our wallets not be stimulated?

OMG I love these. I wish he provided instructions on how to fold them. Then again, it would probably be in written in Japanese.

HILARIOUS and sadly true. I want those, but I'm sure I couldn't afford them. Especially the ones made from foreign currencies.

Yeah, Japanese money blows away our money, in more way than one.
