japan fashion week concluded last friday in tokyo and successfully fulfilled its mission to spotlight up-and-coming designers and establish tokyo as a cutting-edge fashion base.
this year, the catwalk collections proved to be quite craveable and, as always, extremely practical.

(from top row to bottom row: yoshikazu yamagata and kentaro tamai of writtenafterwards; LICA and NAKA of zechia; keiichi muramatsu and noriko seki of everlasting sprout; hokuto katsui and nao yagi of mint designs; cabaret aki and jackal kuzu of gut's dynamite cabarets.)

LOVE the practicality! That bubble hat is ideal for the office. And the wooden hats transition perfectly from day to night.

The muskrat meets Madonna look is intriguing. Couldn't they have at least gone critterless? Dead critters are so Palin 2007.
