artist andrea daquino recently contacted me with fabulous news -- she launched her illustration and print website! congrats, andrea, on your newest intertubes address.
andrea's site is quite the visual playground. from prints entitled "the day federico fellini danced with a zucchini" to tales of escapist pear seeds, miss daquino's work is delectably imaginative and additively gorgeous.
andrea even shares some of the key ingredients to her creative genius on her inspiration board:
to get a little andrea daquino of your own, visit her website. prints won't break the bank either at around 20.00 bux.

I love the crying platform boot. I've been there.

Wow, these are so cool. Kinda surreal art nouveau, but super modern. Can you tell I'm not an art critic? Don't know how to describe it but I know what I like!

Her work is gorgeous; she is fabulous, and now we have it in our very own homes. I'm chuffed and I'm not even British.

Wow - those are amazing! I have cried over beautiful boots before but never seen a boot cry!

i cannot thank tula enough for posting my work here on the ever-charming and entertaining Whorange, its a great honor....and i'm sincerely touched by all these comments!
i urge everyone to check WHORANGE every so often. there are many art and design blogs out there, but this one is refreshingly funny in a realm that can take itself too seriously, and furthermore, she has made the word "whorange" into both a noun AND a verb. no small accomplishment.

Those are really amazing Tula! Great find. Do you think that she would want to sell through Velocity? Maybe? I'd have them in a heartbeat if she did. If you are on twitter, be sure to come on over to SeattleVelocity and say howdy. I really love the yellow submarine vibe of these.

That's a great way to put it - it's yellow submarine-ish.
Very cool work, I know what I like when I see it but it's hard to explain why.
