it's that time of the month again, kittens -- time for WHORANGE'S monthly pad.
this month's pad comes to us from architect craig steely who gloriously remodeled his two story home on beaver street in san francisco, CA. (side note: i actually dated a guy on beaver street in the 90s, but his place looked nothing like this man's pad.)
craig's delicious redo involved relocating the kitchen, living room, and dining room to a groovy new rooftop addition. keep in mind, i lived in san francisco for seven years and never even knew anybody with a two-story home let alone a rooftop rendezvous.
guess i was too busy dating guys living in illegal basement conversions on beaver street?
little did i know that a monthly pad was in the making just a few doors down. never again will i take the magical possibilities of beaver street for granted. PERIOD.

I live in San Francisco and have always been fascinated with Beaver Street (and Mars and Uranus). I love this city!

Omg, Miss Tula! Gorgeous! Except the kitchen... I think it needs Hello Kitty cabinets to give it a more refined look but that's just me. ;)
Cocktailing on that deck looking at the classic SF architecture across the street would be heavenly. I love me the SFO!

I'd actually want to work in the office. Stunning.

Hey! I used to date a man who lived on Beaver Street too. I used to crawl out of bed and roll down Beaver Street to Cafe Flore. Ahhh, memories.

Wow, Paul, Beaver Street sure sees a lot of action, doesn't it?

I think it's all in the name. There were two lesbians who lived across the street. They moved there specifically for the name of the street. Hilarious.

That is beyond awesome.

Craig Steely's equally amazing Hawaii pad is featured in this month's issue of ReadyMade Magazine, too!
