while whoranging at CA boom, i stumbled across an amazing butterfly installation by paul villinski at the jonathan ferrara gallery booth. upon closer inspection, i realized the delicate butterflies were crafted from beer cans. beer cans, people!
villinski collects his cans straight from the streets of NY. he also dabbles in other forms of found media such as vinyl records, gloves, and leather clothing. truly trashtastic!
