okay, kittens, listen up. pantone just released their fashion color report for spring 2009.
these are the colors of the future. commit them to memory. paint your home, adjust your wardrobe, and purchase your panty shades appropriately. act quickly to impress your friends and neighbors.
also, a special note to the trendspotters at pantone: i'd like to propose the following palette for fall 2009. the colors flatter most complexions and are perfect for office-to-evening wear, international travel, signature cocktails, throw pillows, and leotards.
inspired by celebrity skintones.

Ooh, sign me up for some whorange accents! I like your palette better (although the inspiration did made me shriek a little).

I agree with Subtle rudder: your palette is better (albeit frightening).
And I really don't like purple.

Pantone needs to take a cue from you. Salmon Ella trumps Salmon Rose any day.

subtle rudder, i completely agree...my inspiration is scary. but sometimes the most beautiful of inspiration comes from the darkest of places.

My favorite shade: Spray Tangelo

Is it just me, or do I detect a hint of the color combinations of the '80s resurging (sort of like a greasy lunch) with that lucite green and salmon rose?

I was telling my mom about your palette last night, Tula (I killed my TV, so I was over at her place for my essential television fix) and it occurred to me that my adventures with tanning lotion (talk about dark places!), would make a good, if scary, object lesson on why faux finishes are best left to experts. In someone else's house. Where you never visit.

Wow, Pantone's colors are barfy. Yours, however, are celebrity skin-o-licious.
