while cruising for love and muses on design crisis yesterday, i spied some mighty fine butterflies constructed from vintage maps.
these delicate little dandies underwent their magnificent metamorphosis via london-based artist joseph lucien warren. joseph debuted his winged creatures in 2007 for a london art show called "the butterfly effect."
beginning next month, selected butterfilies will be available for purchase through joseph's website imagesurgery.com.
who knew geography could be so flutteriffic!

Dear Whorange,
Your hair looks beautiful today. And those intricately and evenly cut butterflies are a nice accessory to your lovely tresses -- who needs them in a frame? But what I really want to know is: where can I find that (folding?) chair? I want it. Can you sleuth it out for me?
Thanks,
LP
