designer esther derkx creates craveable, one-of-a-kind collections of "improved! crockery" by screen printing images of dancers, athletes, and moody models onto cast-off pieces of vintage dishware.  the crockery contours provide the perfect canvas for the flowing movement of her seductive subjects and allow the pieces to be mixed, matched, stacked, and paired.

i first learned of esther derkx's darling dishes just last week when our friends, heather and tim, blessed us with our first piece of improved! crockery featuring a bikini-clad babe as a wedding gift.  thanks, heather and tim!
