at MOCA's 30th anniversary party last weekend, video artist francesco vezzoli constructed a five-minute production number called "ballets russes italian style (the shortest musical you will never see again)."
cravings ensued...
lady gaga played a nipple-pink, butterfly tattooed, steinway grand piano painted by damien hirst (which was later auctioned off for $450,000)....
and wore a glorious hat designed by architect frank gehry. film director baz luhrmann and his wife, catherine martin, created the masks. but, the whoranging didn't end there...
the bolshoi ballet performed in custom costumes crafted by prada.
in other words...just another typical night at the museum.

Wow that is stunning! I can't believe Frank Gehry made a hat!

And the spectacle didn't end after they left the stage! Lady Gaga changed into a black Prada dress with a cutout that showed off her pale tummy, to pal around with Perez Hilton (in white sunglasses and sequined top), Pharrell Williams (sporting a Ralph Lauren bow tie) and other nattily dressed peeps. The Lady also changed her lipstick color from blue to black. Vezzoli kept the rhinestone tear under his right eye after the performance, even though it didn't quite go with his leather bomber jacket and jeans.

Miss Khanh, what would I do without you and all of your fabulousness? Just knowing you makes my hair look fantastic. xoxo
