throughout the pages of IKEA's new, swedish cookbook entitled "hembakat är bäst" ("homemade is best"), photographer carl kleiner and stylist evelina bratell sexily capture the ingredients for each recipe in their full, raw glory.
whether it be cinnamon buns or black forest cake, each baked good gets its own countertop spread. tasty teasers for the main event!
and, in usual IKEA fashion, part of the fun is translating swedish to english. for example, i have no idea what "radiokaka" is, but apparently, it's a delectable desert.
{recipes from top to bottom: vaniljhorn (vanilla crescent cookies); radiokaka (swedish surprise?); mandelmusslor (almond shells); mandelkubb (gingerbread biscuits); drömmar (dreamy cookie?).}
{via the always craveable craft.}

Must you eat radiokaka while listening to Radio Ga Ga? Surely. Feel bad for the poor sucker who had to teach millions of sugar grains to stay put. Didn't even know Ikea had a cookbook - will cross fingers for an English version?
