kittens, joanne woodward (above) knows how to be sexy, and if you're reading this, i know you do, too.
of course, sometimes our books need a little verticle support, and when they do, why not wrangle them up in style? from whales to roller skates to mid-century brass, it's easy to keep your shelf (and your favorite reads) sitting pretty.

So many great bookends, so little time! I can't decide between the whale or those stunning antelopes.

Love all of the vintage bookends. My bookshelves are so stuffed I don't have room for bookends unfortunately. I know that's not very design savvy, but I have a lot of books which I guess makes me really sexy?

Where to begin?

I've never actually had an occasion to use bookends. A tragedy, I know. I have so many books that they completely fill every available shelf, so bookends just haven't been necessary. I need to do some reorganizing just so I can get an awesome set.
