Wow! Perfect from head to tie. Although you're missing her best accessory: DON!

She was exquisite and I hated that everyone in the office was making fun of her!

That Canadian sexpot has a huge set of oeuvres. It was steamy but I couldn't help but feel sorry for her knowing that she'd crossed the line and Don is... well, Don. Also, from now on, I will be doing all my housecleaning in lingerie.

I noticed how many fans - especially men - are going wacky over Megan Draper's sleek mid-60s looks.
Has anyone ever realized that female characters on this show are harshly judged by their looks and the number of virtues and flaws their characters possess? If they are not ideal - either in looks, morality or both - these same fans are merciless in their views? Why is it that most of the male characters are not as harshly judged?

I thought you already did all of your cleaning in lingerie.

I think because, like most fashion, women's styles are more dominant, interchanging, and iconic to the time. Therefore, their fashion is more open to judgement, both good and bad. The same goes for red carpet fashion - nobody looks at what the men are wearing. Hopefully, we will see more statement fashion from the men as we move into the late sixties. In season 5, we already see 2 men wearing plaid jackets (Pete and Ginsberg) and bold colors (look at young men at Don's birthday party).
As far as morality judgement goes, I honestly think both the male and female characters are judged quite strongly. Especially Don and Pete. In my opinion, the women are really the heroes in this show (Joan and Peggy). However, I do agree that Betty is brutally judged. I don't like the direction they took her character, especially in season 4. I think, fans really don't like her character or respond to January Jones for that matter. So she does get a fair amount of harsh criticism.
Thanks for your question, Rosie!
