i admit, i never imagined spokane, WA, as the setting of a glorious mid-century home...but here it is -- the ferris house by architect bruce walker.
i especially love the eames-styled colored panels in the backyard. delish, indeed.

You know, my husband's best friend lives in Spokane, and he tried desperately to get me interested in moving there, but I wouldn't budge. If he had shown me this house, though, I think I could have made the adjustment! Lovely!

I grew up in Seattle and Spokane was kinda a KKK capital (sorry to say). I would never in a million years imagine this house would be there. I wonder if it's affordable as a result if the location.

I grew up in Spokane and have never seen or heard of this amazing home. It's an awful place to live in spite of having some beautiful homes and architecture. One of the highest rates of meth use in the country. If only we could pick this house up and put it someplace else. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Kris, after reading the comments below, it's probably best that you didn't know about this house! xo

I absolutely love it. Absolutely.

Yep--that's one of the reasons I wasn't interested in moving there!

A modern looking home midst all the trees surrounding it. This is what I look for in a home, spacious yet it is still near nature, you'd get to go out of the house with fresh air coming from the environment. Who lives here?
