kittens, last night was a good night! i'm functioning on three hours of sleep, but it feels good.
president obama was re-elected, marriage equality won in maine, maryland, and washington (legalized) and minnesota (wasn't constitutionally banned), an historic number of badass women were elected to the senate, and oh...you can now recreationally smoke and grown pot in colorado (UPDATE: and washington!).
and another big winner...nerds! congratulations, nate silver. you are a golden, brilliant god.
xoxo

Yay! I'm so glad you all were cheering along with me. I also love that some of you don't live in the US. Great to hear President O is loved around the world :)

Prepare for the onslought of readers who insist you should keep politics to yourself (on YOUR blog) and insist they will never read your blog again.
But who cares? Woo-hoo!

Although I live in a red state, I voted Obama. Didn't make a difference in Texas, but I tried! Woohoo to Barack!
