because every room in the house deserves a little bit o' brass.
sure, i love the reclaimed wood turntable, vintage classroom chalkboard, eco-friendly cardboard speakers, heavy-fingered vinyl collection, and lone air plant.
however, what i'm really digging is the flocked xmas tree, which i assume (and hope) stays up year round.

when the original structure of the balcones house was too badly damaged to retain, pollen architecture rebuilt it with the intention to recreate a "modest mid-century design."
by "modest," i can only assume they mean dreamy, panty-dropping, fantasy pad.
